Donna Neil, Real Estate Professional with Remax/Boone Realty, was destined from birth to be a winner, as she was born in Winner, SD! If you asked any of Donna’s customers, co-workers, friends and family, you would quickly learn that Donna has lived up to her birthplace’s name, both professionally AND personally.
The majority of Donna’s “growing up time” took place in Omaha, NE. Then, a month after Donna and her husband, Rex, were married, they were transferred to Amarillo, TX, then to Indianapolis, IN, then to Wichita, KS . . .Kansas City, and finally . . . in 1990 . . . .to Columbia.
Having moved to and having lived in so many different places, Donna learned what it takes to be a good realtor. In addition, Donna states, “Columbia is home and since we love it here so much it helps me feel good about finding homes for others, so they can all call Columbia their home.”
Donna and Rex have a son, Travis, 41, and a daughter, Kayce, 37. Donna and Rex are blessed that both of their children and families (including grandsons Riley and Tanner, which Donna describes as “our world”), also live in Columbia.
When asked about Women’s Network, Donna responded, “Women’s Network has been very important in my life. Going to a Women’s Network mentor meeting sparked my lifelong desire to be a realtor.”
Donna reflects, “I originally earned my real estate license in Texas, but never did anything with it, as soon after we moved to Indiana. Then, after moving from Indiana to Kansas, I got my Kansas license, but almost immediately after, we moved again! Shortly after moving to Columbia I went to work for Boone County National Bank (now Central Bank) and really enjoyed my time there, but at the above mentioned Women’s Network meeting, the light bulb went off, making me realize . . .my kids are grown, I love Columbia . . . why not follow my dream? The rest, as they say . . . is history. I have been selling real estate with Re/Max Boone Realty for the last 17 years and so, thanks to Women’s Network, I love what I do today!
Over the past 17 years, Donna has developed a genuine desire to help her customers with all of their real estate needs, always implementing honesty and professionalism. Donna certainly has a magnetic personality, and draws others in with her warm smile.
