I took some Split-Second Courage and purchased this book. What hooked me is that the author is an Ironman, Ultra-Runner, Marathon runner, and we were at the same fitness convention. I got my copy signed and all!
I love that this book talks about the routine normal things that we do that involves Split-Second Courage as well as the big ones like leaving a profession or signing up for a Marathon or Ironman. I was inspired by this book and author to move forward with my goal this year of completing an Olympic Distance Triathlon as a stepping stone to completing a Half Ironman in several years. So many times I get excited, get some quick courage, and then I second-guess myself and get in my own way. This book has inspired me to stop getting in my own way and pursue those dreams using Split-Second Courage.
