Columbia – Women in Business

Get to know Katie Swanson with Change Collaborative for this week’s Women in Business spotlight.

Q: How long has Change Collaborative been in business?

A:  We have been open to the public for a little over a year

Q: What made you decide to open Change Collaborative?

A: I wanted to help businesses use a future focused approach and look at their financial health rather than focusing on financial and tax compliance related services.  It takes a completely different mindset and approach to working with businesses.  I niched to serving the fitness industry because I love all things fitness and health and want to serve that industry which will allow us to have an impact on building a healthy world through preventative measures.

Q: What kind of amenities and services does Change Collaborative offer?

A: WeWork with fitness businesses to strengthen their financial core to bring financial stability in moving their business forward.

Q: What makes Change Collaborative stand out from other businesses like it?

A: We work virtually and have an established collaboration style that when paired with tech tools and processes makes our customers happy.

Q: How do you connect with the community?

A: I connect with the fitness community that I serve by attending trade and industry shows.  I connect with the local business community through my participation with Chamber events and Women’s Network.

Q: What else would you like our Women’s Network members to know about your business?

A: We are growing!  If you know any gyms, health clubs, or wellness centered businesses that could use some financial strength and stability we’d be happy to chat with them.
