Jamie Kern Lima shares her incredible life story in “Believe It.” Jamie started IT Cosmetics from her living room and spent years struggling to launch her business until an appearance on QVC. Jamie changed the beauty industry by using models of all ages, sizes and races as well as sharing her own skin issue, rosacea. Her business grew until purchased by L’Oreal for $1.2 billion. Jamie’s story is one of persistence and inspiration.
A few nuggets from “Believe It”:
– Don’t be discouraged by when you hear no. That no may turn into a future yes from the same person!
– Who do you need to “turn up the volume” with in your life by giving them more attention? Who needs the volume down?
– What can you say to another person that will benefit them in the moment?
“Believe It” is a quick and easy read. You’ll be inspired by Jamie’s story and feel better about yourself and the world.
