Dr. Kelli Winarski

Dr. Kelli Winarski grew up on a farm in southeast Iowa and attended the University of Northern Iowa (UNI), majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry. It was during her time at UNI that a running injury first introduced her to chiropractic services. After graduating with honors from UNI, Dr. Kelli studied at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. The health consciousness at Palmer led Dr. Kelli to drop 30 pounds, run a marathon and several half-marathons, and participate in her first triathlon. She has always had a passion for kids and became interested in wellness while at Palmer. Dr. Kelli participated in a chiropractic mission trip to the Fijian Islands, where she was one of many doctors to bring chiropractic care to over 4,000 children in just 6 days -- the only health care many of these children would ever receive in their lifetime. She enjoys running, biking, recreational swimming, and being outdoors. She is a talented artist and enjoys working with paints, pencils, & watercolors and also likes to knit. Dr. Kelli married her husband, David, while attending Palmer, where they both graduated with honors and now are the proud parents of their first child, Samuel, in a home water birth with an educated, experienced midwife. They have a thriving practice chiropractic practice (Family First Chiropractic & Wellness Center) in Columbia, where they are active members of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Women’s Network.
