2015-16 Women’s Network Mentoring Program

Take your professional growth to the next level by applying to be a part of WN’s Mentoring Program. The newest program to Women’s Network is designed to help provide inspiration, instruction and connection with leaders in our community in a way that maximizes your leadership growth as well as your time invested.

What is it?

The Mentoring Program is a 12-month program, spanning from July 2015 to June 2016. This program is structured to make it as effective and powerful as possible for the participants. In order to provide the best experience possible, the inaugural class will be limited to no more than 5 Mentees and 5 Mentors.

The Mentee will set a goal and work to achieve it with the help of her Mentor. The goal can be anything relating to her professional career, whether it is improving on a skill, obtaining more knowledge in her field or making connections. The Mentor will help her Mentee connect with 12 people in the community throughout the year who can help her achieve her goal.

The Mentee should build a relationship with her Mentor, discuss career goals, ask questions and utilize her Mentor as a resource to developing her leadership skills.

How are we matched?

Interested Mentees and Mentors can apply. Each Mentee that is selected will be assigned a Mentor based on the Mentee’s specific goals, needs and personality type.

Mentees and Mentors must be Women’s Network members and willing to commit to the year-long program.

What is the time commitment?

The Mentor and Mentee will meet a minimum of once per month during the program.

Additionally, the Mentee will meet with a minimum of one new person per month, selected by her Mentor. These meetings are with people in the community that will help the Mentee reach her goals.

Both Mentees and Mentors will be asked to give feedback on the program on a regular basis.
