Our mission is to strengthen existing relationships with current members, previous Women’s Network leadership, and potential new members.
Cristy Bridgman, Mike Messer Agency LLC – Shelter Insurance and Brooke Berkey, Stoney Creek Inn & Conference Center serve as the co-chairs for the Membership Development Committee.
When a new member joins Women’s Network, our committee calls to welcome them to the organization and encourage their attendance at Women’s Network events. Our committee also serves as greeters at monthly luncheons and organizes New Member Welcomes throughout the year. Our next New Member Welcome is Tuesday, October 9, at 11:30 a.m. at the Stoney Creek Inn. We extend an invitation to all current and new members who have not attended the welcome before. We hope you will join us! Lunch is provided, so please register online for the event.
Another large focus for our committee is the Experience Women’s Network program (XWN). The XWN program is for existing and new members and must be completed within one year of start date. If you follow the program, you’re sure to have a rewarding experience as a Women’s Network member. You’ll understand what Women’s Network is, how it works and how it’s beneficial to YOU and the company you work for.
The XWN program is full of networking events including attendance at the annual Athena banquet, a New Member Welcome, a monthly luncheon and many more. At the September monthly luncheon, we had our first annual XWN graduation and were proud to recognize 16 graduates and their businesses! The graduates were recognized on stage with a certificate and XWN pin. We look forward to our next annual graduation and hope to see YOU as a graduate! XWN cards can be picked up at the registration table at all monthly luncheons or by contacting Elizabeth Tate at the Chamber of Commerce.
