Every year Women’s Network awards a member with a Greater Missouri Leadership Challenge tuition scholarship. The Greater Missouri Leadership Challenge is a not-for-profit organization that sponsors an annual traveling symposium designed to bring together women leadership from global corporations, small businesses, academia, government agencies and non-profit organizations from across the state. The group is exposed to critical issues confronting their communities, state and nation and inspired to make a positive difference as individuals, as they become part of a powerful network of leaders.
Each year Greater Missouri participants travel to four distinctive geographic areas in the state of Missouri where they are involved in compelling discussion about issues relevant to that area. Participants are also exposed to a broad range of influential speakers and unique experiences that address topics that are both timely and thought provoking.
Kate Grant, Fresh Ideas Food Service and Women’s Network President-Elect, won the Greater Missouri Leadership Challenge scholarship in 2011 and is currently finishing up the class schedule. Tina Ehrhardt, Human Resources Manager with ABC Laboratories, Incorporated was the Women’s Network 2010 scholarship recipient.
